The bar at the top of the iPad is the indicator of connection. If it's red, we've got some work to do.
**Try to connect after each step**
I don't see my computer listed.
- Check that both iPad and computer are connected to the same network
- Restart CTRL+Desktop (click stop-sign in menu bar or taskbar then choose exit and restart)
- Restart CTRL+Console on iPad (double tap home button and swipe the app up to force close)
- Restart computer
- Read your router documents or ask the manufacturer whether they block multicast messages for zero-configuration networking
My computer is listed but bar remains red.
- Make sure you tap the computer name
